Tuesday evening saw the second week of the Ladies night. Always keen to get the players on court I encouraged them on court to get warmed up. Once all were ready games were sorted and play commenced.
Half of the ladies from last week’s launch were there and those who were not had sent there apologies expressing their attendance next week. So 75% of Tuesday nights visitors were completely new. By the end of the evening I was pleasantly surprised that these ladies were keen for the LADIES ONLY badminton to be successful. They also offered their help to promote the event by displaying posters and using word of mouth.
