Stephanie experience has been gathered over many years of playing and enjoying the sport so much wanted to give something back. With help from the likes of Lorraine Cole (Ex-England and International player and Level 3 coach), Steve Butler (Ex-England and International player and coach), Terry Goodings and Derek Bevan both Warwickshire coaches she has enjoyed expanding her coaching education because of them. Currently working alongside Julia Mann (now Quinn) another Ex-England and International player and Worcestershire Schools Badminton Association and WMPC coach.

WMPC – West Midlands Performance Center – Development Office
Promoting badminton in Birmingham and surrounding areas. Working with local schools and linking them up with badminton clubs. Coaching talented young players and helping them to improve their skills. Working closely with head coaches Lorraine Cole and Julia Mann.

WSBA – Warwickshire Schools Badminton Association
Working at mainly in the Birmingham county cells with the younger age groups under 12 and 14s. Occasionally helping with the under 16 and under 18.

WSBA – Worcestershire Schools Badminton Association
Working at the developing session on Sunday morning at Turves Green Boys School (South Birmingham). Some squad members are under 12. Regularly working with Julia Mann at the main county training session on Monday evenings.

Ashton Badminton Club
Club and Match secretary at the club based in Kingswinford, Dudley, West Midlands.

Smash Up – Badminton England
Delivery the new badminton concept for Badminton England into schools in and around Birmingham. Encouraging those that are less sporty to participate in fun sessions.

Racket Pack (BISI) – Badminton for Primary schools
Qualified through Badminton England delivering block sessions in Primary schools.

PL4S – Premier League 4 Sports
Working for ‘The Albion Foundation’ at West Bromwich Albion F.C., delivering additional sports curriculum to local schools and occasionally working with Aston Villa F.C. at their Holiday Sports Camps.

NHS – National Health Service – Mental Health Care
Delivering various programmes, spread over several weeks. Providing an insight into various aspects of badminton (shots, movement, rules and scoring). Encouraging the patients to focus on sport and enjoy the learning experience. Sandwell Mental Health – Grapevine magazine article HERE See page 6.

Change 4 Life
Delivering the local government Change 4 Life programme to Park Hall School, Water Orton, Heart of England School, Balsall Common and the CTC Kings Hurst School. Setting up and running after school clubs for their pupils. Followed by a second session aimed at pupils from local primary school.

NSB – No String Badminton
Running a weekly session through Badminton England promoting badminton to adults (18+) who want to play socially and ‘pay and play’ with no commitment. Ran at Solihull College Sport Centre.

David Lloyd – Club Badminton Coach
Working at David Lloyd, Cranmore Boulavard in Solihull. Started running their Allstars Badminton Programme prior to Christmas 2011 and continuing following the school term times for sessions.

Because of the above Stephanie has set up and runs several of her own sessions to encourage players of all years, genders and abilities to participate in such a social and/or competitive sport.
